CALL FOR ARTIST
Summit Public Art (SPA), a non-profit, all volunteer organization that brings art to public spaces throughout the City of Summit, is celebrating its 23rd anniversary. This year, our annual fundraiser references the March 2025 New York Times article, titled
“The Art World’s Next Big Thing: Tiny Paintings.”
SPA is seeking artists to donate 6” x 6” original works to be sold at its September 26th fundraiser for $100 each. All funds will go towards obtaining new installations for SPA’s 2026 season.
This should be a lively event, sure to delight. To heighten the fun, all showcased works will be anonymous. Renowned artists’ works will be interspersed with works by artists at all levels of expertise. At the end of the purchase period, artists’ information will be provided to buyers.
We sincerely hope you will help SPA in its ongoing effort to promote public art in Summit. Many thanks to all who do!
