Join us for an Evening of Anonymous Art on Friday, September 26th, 2025, held at the historic Summit, NJ venue, Twin Maples (214 Springfield Avenue). Summit Public Art's Evening of Anonymous Art will feature over 100 works of original art. The proceeds from this event will help fund Summit Public Art's mission of bringing art to public spaces. These funds directly contribute to the honorarium we provide to artist to be able to design, fabricate, ship and install their artwork throughout our downtown for either temporary or permanent installation. 

This special evening leans into the current trends of the art world, according to the New York Times; Tiny Paintings. All artwork featured in this exhibition measures at 6"x6" and will be sold for $100. Every piece will remain anonymous until acquired by it's new owner. To make the event exciting and gamify the experience, each artwork will have only six available slots for interested viewers to "bid" on. Once those six slots are full, the work will no longer be available to other interested parties. 

Rules of the Game: 
Upon entry into the show, viewers will be invited to experience all of the featured artwork. From 7-9pm, guests will have the opportunity to write their names next to the artworks they are interested in.

At 9pm, bidding on all artwork will close, and we will begin selecting the "winners" of each work. The selection process will be determined by the roll of a die. If the number your name is next to on the bid sheet correlates with the number rolled on the die, you're the lucky winner of the artwork! There are no take-backs in this game. If you bid on 7 pieces and have a lucky night, be prepared to purchase all 7!

But don't worry... if you lose out on the artwork you loved, you may still have a chance to obtain an original works by your newly discovered favorite artists! All of the participating artists will be featured on our website after the event, and their contact information will available to all who are interested in custom commission.
