A fictional world existing only as light and pixels.

The photographer, Joan Pamboukas, aims to show the viewer images of things that are ubiquitous to most from a point of view that obscures the identity of the subject or puts it in a new context. She is fascinated by the ways that the media and interactive technologies are woven into the human experience. Her artwork has been widely exhibited at numerous venues including The Montclair Art Museum, Montclair, NJ; The Dumbo Arts Festival, Brooklyn, NY; and The Arts Council of Princeton, Princeton, NJ. Pamboukas lives and works in the New York area.

A delightful take on nature.

Jason Middlebrook gathers his creative inspiration from both nature and technology, transferring their complex relationship into works of sculpture, installation, painting, and large-scale drawing. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the New Museum, New York, NY; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; MASS MoCA, North Adams, MA; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, IL. He has been reviewed in numerous publications including Artforum, Art in America,The New York Times, and Sculpture Magazine. His MTA public commission,” Brooklyn Seeds,” was named one of the Best Public Artworks in the United States. Middlebrook lives and works in Hudson, NY.
