Andy Zimmerman is interested in exploring and exploiting the contrasts between matte and glossy surfaces, organic and geometric shapes, and saturated colors vs.the absence of color. Zimmerman has exhibited nationally and internationally. Exhibition venues include the Drawing Center, New York, NY; The RISD Biennial, New York, NY; and Galleria Guido Carbone, Torino, Italy. Public collections of his works include the Fidelity Investment Corporation, Boston, MA; New York Presbyterian Hospital, New York, NY; Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York, NY; and the US State Department, Washington, DC. Zimmerman lives and works in the New York area.
