Starburst and Starbust Revisited
- by Tom Holmes
An explosion of pure form and color among nature's wondrous trees. Startburst Revisited became three starbursts recycled in 2013 from a larger "Starburst" after Hurricane Sandy
Tom Holmes is drawn to working in the six elements of stone, metal, wood, light, ice and water. "It gives me the ability to work intuitively. All possibilities can exist briefly before I impose parameters with regard to my emotional and intellectual contexts." His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is in both private and museum collections across the United States. Holmes's work has been noted in several newspapers and magazines including The New York Times. He lives and works in Pennsylvania.
