Jay Lagemann's art reflects whimsy, playfulness, and joy. His sculptures are made from a variety of materials with the larger sculptures predominantly in stainless steal and bronze. Lagemann lives and works in West Tisbury on Martha's Vineyard, MA. His works are shown at the Ganary Gallery, the Featherstone Arts Center, and the Field Gallery on the Vineyard. In 2017, a large scale verion of Lagemann's "Swinging Jenny" was permanently installed in front of VIA 57 West, a residential building in midtown Manhattan.
