Wildlife, threatened in the 20th century, now re-emerging in the wilderness, suburbs, and urban areas.
Wendy Klemperer concentrates on large outdoor sculptures, placing natural imagery in many different settings. A lifelong study of animals informs her sculptural process; naturalism serves as a means to convey an expressive moment. Her works have been exhibited nationally, with permanent public installations across the United States and at Sias International University, Xinzheng, Henan Province, China. Klemperer lives and works in Brooklyn, N.Y.
