Charlee Swanson’s work is primarily about the materials he uses: broken glass, steel, paper and other abandoned materials. He recycles these discarded materials and assigns them new identities. Swanson’s works have been exhibited in solo and group shows in the United States and he has received numerous commissions including a NJ Transit Public Art Commission. He is the recipient of a George and Helen Segal Foundation Grant. Swanson lives and works in Montclair, NJ.
